With every trailer we pull the trailer ABS light on the dash comes on for a sec. I know it works fine as I had a fast red light I had to stop quick for. We’re getting it fixed next week at the good shop. Most of the time it's the electrical plug on the trailer just bend the prongs and it usually will fix the problem.
