Well-Known Member. I have two breech plugs for caps ( 1 for #11 and 1 for Musket) and a conversion kit for 209 primers for the Ruger. After buying the 209 open-breech conversion I decided to go whole hog and get the Badger closed-breech conversion. I only tried the conversion by shooting off a few caps to see how well it worked.
