The later ones used the American Bosch Model 100 like the 66/86 IH, but on an AC with ps had some erratic governing issues, and tend to be lazy governing as well. Not to bash the AC 301 or 426, but IMO the 5.9 cummins in the AC 7010-8070 units should have comparable torque at improved fuel efficency.
