In 201, Beretta released the M9A1/92A1 designs. These guns blended the classic 92FS with a few features from the 90-Two. The A1 variants added a rail and dovetailed front sight, but the rest was all Beretta 92FS. On the slide it says Model 92A1- Pietro Beretta Gardone V.T. made in Italy. This is not 1/2 x 28 threaded and I am not 100% sure what these threads are. This is a little larger. I made some searches and keep getting directed to the factory M9 or 92 1/2 x 28 barrels.The 92A1 is very nice. The only thing it really needs is the checkering from the M9A1, not sure why they didn't carry that over. No it does not have the metal parts but the polymer coated parts. The 92A1 slide won't fit on a normal M9 frame, but a normal M9/92 slide will fit on a 92A1 frame.
