How to install an andersen storm door

Remove the storm door sweep from the storm door panel. Using a flat-head screwdriver, open one (1) end of the channel that may have been closed or crimped to hold the sweep fin into place (see image below). Slide sweep fin out of the channel. Slide replacement sweep fin into the channel.

To accommodate doorways with two (2) entry doors, the storm doors can be installed within a single frame. An astragal kit is required to create a double storm door.
