The a300 will shoot softer so it will help for high volume shooting or shooting with heavy loads. I can't think of any advantage for the affinity, but its still a very good gun. The Franchi just has a little more distance between the grip and the trigger. One other difference is the forearm is slimmer on the m2, but I have zero issues with the forearm on the affinity. Both are high quality guns.
