Jan 11, 2021. #1. Hi. I am trying to program my Pro652 to listen to CSP and what ever else I can on the CLMRN. I have CT DEEP and CT Transit in their own banks and don't hear anything there either. I am using WIN500 to program with. I downloaded from RR database.

Clmrn. Most radios being used on CLMRN follow the following structure: MMM S UUU MMM is the City or Town Municipal Tax Code. Note: There are exceptions for municipalities that do not participate in CLMRN, with the municipality code reallocated to a different agency. (Example: 4xxxx radio ID's assigned to CT Transit rather than the Town of Avon).

I beleve they can put it up and down as they please, Its mostly for the DEEP units to talk to Madison PD from Hammo state park. Madison is not changeing over to the CLMRN system

The UHF and two former conventional PD 800 channels have been upgraded to new GTR repeaters. They are not going away but are being migrated to all hazards interop channels and backup to the CLMRN system in the event of a failsoft event. Depending on when you last monitored the system, there were changes made several years ago that make the scanner you are using much less effective on P25 Phase 2 systems such as CLMRN. I wouldn't spend a bunch of time making custom files until you are confident that you will be able to hear it properly.
