Most people who make a scale have infinitely more 1s than 10s even though there's far more beautiful people than people that grotesque. It diminishes what it means to be a 10, but imo if you're a 9 then if I saw you on the street then 1 in 10 people (we can normalize by relative age ranges) are more attractive than you.
